On entering Drumbeg from the direction of Lochinver you will find the Viewpoint car park with beautiful views out to sea over Eddrachillis Bay to Handa Island and beyond. There is an information board here and also public toilets with facilities for the disabled.
Loch Drumbeg itself is a wonderful location for fishing for wild brown trout from April till September and there are literally hundreds of other hill lochs and lochans for intrepid anglers to explore in the area. Permits can be obtained from ourselves or from Mrs Macleod at the Old Post Office (01571 833231). Boats, tackle and ghillie services can be hired through Calum Millar (01571 833364).
T & T Fresh Fruit & Veg is situated in the Steading at Drumbeg Viewpoint. Customers come from far and wide to buy their wonderfully varied selection of fresh produce. Open 10am - 5pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. (Tues & Fri only in winter).

Drumbeg is a beautifully situated hamlet of about 40 permanent residents nestling halfway along the B869 Coastal Road from Kylesku to Lochinver. This is a 23 mile single track road with some absolutely stunning views of mountains, lochs, white beaches and rugged countryside.
