Given that we operate in such a challenging retail environment we are always willing to go the extra mile for our customers and this applies to self-catering visitors every bit as much as our local clientele. With this in mind we have put together three tasty offers which we hope will dissuade you from arriving in Assynt with a boot groaning under the weight of Mr Tesco's finest!
If you would like us to make up any of these hampers for you, please drop us an email or give us a call at least one week before you travel to Assynt. Let us know your estimated time of arrival at our shop; we live next door so will be happy to open up for you even if you arrive anything up to three hours after our 5pm closing time. Alternatively, let us know where to get hold of a key to the property you are letting and we can arrange to have your purchases waiting for you when you arrive, chilled items in the fridge. (Please refer to our full stock list and remember that there is also a greengrocer in the village so we can easily purchase fruit and veg on your behalf at no extra charge.)
Starter Hamper - £18
We hope that this box makes it easier to order the basics you might need for your first 24 hours in Assynt. If you would prefer your bread to be white, your juice to be orange, your eggs to be free-range, your bacon smoked or any other modification then please just let us know when you order!
Deli Treats Hamper - from £10
If you would like to treat yourself to some delicatessen treats, just let us know how much you would like to spend and we will pack up a box of delicious surprises for you. Your box might include olives, cheeses, pâtés, smoked meats, smoked fish, stuffed sweet peppers, luxury oatcakes, chorizo and more. Many of your treats will come from the Highlands. Let us know if you have any particular likes or dislikes.
